As we are learning more and more every day—our veterans returning from active duty overseas in the middle east, have a variety of reactions when returning to their families, friends and local communities. Some veteran reactions may include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), among other mental and physical issues resulting from a heavy action tour, or in many cases, multiple heavy action tours nearly back-to-back.

While our Nation explores new ways to help our Veterans return to civilian environments, that are not conventional prescription medicated “easy fixes,” we’ll see more and more organic assistance solutions that involve the outdoors and animals.
